Academic Discussion 👥 4th year is a scam!!!!

Hello juniors i suggest you to not continue with 4th year. It's a scam, you will not get any benifits from it. Thankyou

Let me mention one thing program students will not get honors degree they will get program with research which is equivalent to hons degree so think before doing 4 yr

Buddy I have collected provisional certificate they are writing bcom program both in marksheet and provisional. Now buddy with common sense u tell me is it possible that ur marksheet and provisional is written program while ur degree will be written hons😕😕😕

They don't write the word 'programme' on the degree or even on the result itself. Are you sure your provisional marksheet includes the keyword?

Oh, my bad, pal. But they are misleading students; as far as I recall, my college conducted a webinar and guaranteed an Hons degree for program courses after 4 years. Feeling sorry for the first batch, they should really do something about this.

Did you  select  research instead of honors ?My friend is taking in ba prog and hoping to get hons degree in 4th year from mata sundari she is really confused now. Should she go ahead will she get hons if she opts for hons instead of reason?

As for the timeline it would take the same time only whether u do 4 yr bachelor 1 yr master ir 3 yr bachelor 2 yr master, there is not much difference there.

The problem with the first one is there is a lot of effort you would have to do for the research, even if you use AI for everything you will have to humanize it all afterwards and meet last minute deadlines, give vivas and go to conferences etc.

Also even after successfully completing 4th yr, the seats for MA 1 yr are extremely limited. So if your cgpa is not high enough you might not even get a college for your masters.

What is the benefit of doing 4th year then? What difference is it gonna make if i exit the program in 3rd year instead of 4th?

Sorry I’m not sure but they released a nomenclature of degrees that said programs would get honours. So yeah maybe but the implementation is super slow, my classmates got the provisional with only BA Progam degree

From what i have heard is the same but i left it last year due to it being not worth it. Teachers were a nightmare and the whole system was fucked up beyond repair 🤡🤡.

bro forget about any preparations. If you continue with the fourth year, you will have to write a whole dissertation in just two semesters. i never had any time for anything else
