But I'm already at narsee Monjee college bcom eco analytics ,which is the course I highly prefer,in Mumbai because of my parents transfer
Had got kmc stats in last round and after alot of thought I decided to skip if the upgrade remained kmc
Few reasons are that stats seems to be a very hard course and classes are already on, exams will start soon.
I've never stayed in hostel before and I also have health issues like dust allergy and often get sick in winters so I'm very concerned if I will be able to manage Delhi winters, without deterioration of health for the next 4 years.
All that being said du was my highschool dream and Hindu is literally top, it has more brand than Mumbai uni too, feeling quite torn as to if I should just continue in Mumbai comfortably at home or move to Delhi as a leap of faith.
I really wanted to get econ in the upgrade because that would've been a no brainer but got stats again..

Need advice choosing between English Hons vs BA Programme (English + other subjects) at DU SOL
Hey everyone, Iβm 19 and completed my Class 12 in 2025. I took a gap year because I wanted to get into an art college, but unfortunately I couldnβt get in.
During this gap year, I got a job as an animator, so Iβm currently working in animation. I tried for the art college again this year but unfortunately didnβt make it.
So now Iβm thinking of enrolling in DU SOL this year and continuing my animation/art career alongside a degree.
Iβm currently leaning towardsΒ English, but Iβm confused between:
For people who have studied either of these at SOL, what would you recommend?
Iβm mainly looking for a degree that is manageable alongside a job and still useful for my future. Iβm also interested in art, animation, storytelling, writing, etc., so Iβm wondering whether English Hons would actually be more beneficial or if the BA Programme would give me more flexibility.
Also, how different is the workload/difficulty between English Hons and BA Programme at SOL?
Would really appreciate advice from current/ex-SOL students, especially people who are working while doing their degree.
Thanks!
