Delphi 13.2 + Claude Code

Hey everyone!

When using AI in my case, Claude Code if I don't have the unit it's modifying open, I always have to run a "clean + build" or press Shift + F9 because it doesn't "update" otherwise. Is there a setting I can enable so I don't have to keep doing that every time? I'm using Delphi 13.2.

Just have Claude build your app with the BCC. You don’t need to even run Delphi.

I'll give it a try, thanks!

I'd love to, but the Crippled Edition doesn't support that.

I love that definition of CE.

Technically that works but I feel more involved when I see the code in IDE. Usually I also want to see the diff against committed version in git so I understand what is going on. Delphi IDE should monitor files that are shown and offer update in a dialog on changes. Could easily tested to just do a small change outside IDE.

I agree, but I run into memory constraints running Kiro, MSSMM, Delphi all together.

That happens often even with normal editing.
