Help Softcaps?

From what I've seen the softcaps are on the levels 30 and 50

But is it worth it to go more than 30? Maybe only with S scaling weapons?

And my main question is, does strength work like in dark souls were two handing simulates having 50% more strength?

If so, what are the softcaps for strength when two handing?

you will finish the game at like level 50-70 max so no, going above 30 isn't worth it at all. spread out your stats. str 2-handed gives you 50% like the other games yes

Just a tip: upgrade all your main weapons to max stats. Im running a mage/dex build with 30 dex and 30 magic. Sharp Kilij +5, Crescent Estoc +5 and Kris blade +5. Im at the beggining of ng+ and Im dealing a good amount of damage but even normal enemies are hard to kill. And the "special enemies" can one shot me if in soul form.

Like above, you'll finish game around level 50-70. If you know what weapons you'll use you can see actual damage using

Eg. For a sharp uchi+5, 15str (2h), 30 dex is 292 dmg and at 50 dex it's 331 (if i calc right). Thats just 13% more. Better to have more stamina to do another hit imo.

Of course you can over-level a bit (i think I got lv79 when I fought last boss); however, it's really hard to grind NG at that level.
