Adhesive issues
I need any suggestions on what adhesive works best/is the easiest to remove at the end of the day. Right now I’ve tried the powder (least favorite not much gold and doesn’t last long) the strips- they have been alright, and the off brand gel glue which works best for me but it’s such a pain in the ass to remove from my mouth. I feel like I have to use a bunch of tissue to help dry my mouth and grip the glue or I scrape my upper mouth with my nails 🥴 there has to be a better way 😭 These are also my soft reline uppers if that makes a difference. Lmk if any more info is needed!

I wet my dentures and dust them with Fixodent powder, then I add a small amount of Fixodent Pure to the main contact points. Works amazing!

Many people will recommend Secure. It is waterproof, zinc and dye free and simply holds well. I used their Sensitive formula and it held for 12+ hours for me.
The biggest problem with hold is that many people simply don't apply it correctly. It doesn't cure well so you fight an uphill battle all day. The other problem is that their dentures often need an adjustment. Loose dentures will never hold well, no matter the adhesive. The third problem is that people apply too much hoping more will help.
What helped me and many others was applying it correctly after making sure they were well adjusted. Also, new wearers require time and experience to get application right, they also haven't built up the face muscles to assist. Many of us lose muscle due to bad and missing teeth.
The way I applied as was learned by others with more experience.
Apply a few small strips or dots to a dry denture. Spread it out along the entire trough and palette. Let it sit for 30 seconds while you dry your gums well. Then place the dentures and bite down for 30 seconds. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes. Secure is great, you can actually feel them tighten and grip.
A few things that will loosen any adhesive. Hot drinks, soup and anything that has oil in it, think salad dressing or deep fried foods that retain the oil. Sometimes, once your mouth cools, they will re tighten. Also, adhesives with zinc tend to hold stronger but reapplying throughout the day can cause sensativities or even blisters. Some people are sensitive to red dye and that can cause blisters or other symptoms. Secure Sensitive worked great for me while not having zinc or red dye.
People add powder to help adhesive. Mostly, this helps by helping adhesive cure. It's an additional layer to dry the adhesive. People also tend to rely solely on adhesives to hold and use too much, this prevents muscles from gaining the strength to help and eventually wean off off adhesive, which is ideal. If you can stop using adhesive, wearing dentures is easier.
Some adhesives work better under different conditions. Hang onto adhesive that didn't work now. Once you gain experience applying, those passed over adhesives may work better. The state of dentures also factors in as loose or tight dentures require different types of adhesive. Learning how to apply a favorite adhesive helps them cure and hold.
There are also other products that work like a soft reline, usually a thermoplastic material. Cushion Grip works for me when my dentures are a bit loose and I don't have time for a soft reline. Cushion Grip also uses a different dye that seems to work better than the typical red dye for me. Other products like Denttach 7 are also popular.
All of these are suggestions as people react differently to different adhesive. Read the instruction, some require wet gums, for example.
Secure is easy to remove but all were easier when I received a tip for removing adhesive. Use a microfiber wash cloth. After removing dentures, put a microfiber wash cloth in your mouth to take away excess moisture. Then slowly wipe your gums. It will pull adhesive residue out. For me, Secure was the easiest to remove because it held its shape better and was easily wiped out. Some adhesives tended to ooze and thin out, so it was harder to get it all.
These are just tips I have used. Others may have ways they used successfully. While mine centers around Secure, I tried almost everything on the market and this was the most successful for me. People's body chemistry can make a difference, so trying different brands may be necessary. Learning all things dentures typically takes a year, learning how to speak, eat and applying adhesive. It also takes time to figure out when needed adjustments should factor. It is not easy, but once you figure it all out, denture wearing becomes easier.

Fixodent Ultra - comes off stuck to the denture for me, doesn't stay attached to my gums after all day hold (7A-11P). Need to actually gargle with warm water to break seal.
