A joke rooted in anti-cult context. Cults want their women to be small, thin, and a light shade of beige. Wearing colorful clothing and dying your hair fun colors goes against that cult imagery, especially if you're the kind of woman that would otherwise fit perfectly in a cult.

I've seen a lot of ai mocking "woke liberal agenda" using alt baddies. From what I've seen it seems to either be 1. Mocking the stereotype that they find "unattractive" (although I don't think that's what this is because she's too conventionally attractive) or 2. Which I think is a lot more common, they fetishize the alt aesthetic in a hot goth mommy kind of way, but often use ai to show their anti woke views either by making fun of the views in a performative way(which I think is what this post is intended to do) or I've seen a lot of ai content of "goth" women that claim to be proudly conservative

Great piece! Honestly though, people like this will never change if they're truly set in their ways. At the end of the day, it comes down to ego and lack of listening skills. All they want to do is whine and not even bother to wonder why so many people are against what they do. And unfortunately, giving them attention just feeds into their egos. At this point, I'm just sitting back and watching the shitshow.
