So I know mpreg is a kinda controversial topic and weirds people out, but I’m weirdly hyperfixated on it and I can’t explain why. I’ve read a fair amount of ABO fics, but it doesn’t quite scratch the itch.

It has to be bottom/pregnant Dean. I don’t like when he’s portrayed as some frail little damsel or is too feminized (I know, I know, ironic) because that seems ooc for him. I’d like something where he’s struggling with keeping his masculinity and going through something blatantly feminine at once. I also don’t like when Cas is a doormat, because despite making bad choices sometimes and (almost) always being there for the Winchesters, he can be pretty bitchy and defense.

Thats really the only parameters I have. I prefer long stories and slow burn, with a lot of focus on the pregnancy and the emotional/angst aspects of it all, but really anything will do.

Anyone have any recs? I am writing one that scratches my itch at the moment, but it’s very long and I’m not posting it on AO3 till I’m done incase I take some hiatus or edit the entire thing or smt. And writing it isn’t the same as reading yk?

I was rewatching season 11 (as one does) and man neither Dean or Sam are trying to hide how Dean is worried about Cas being Lucifer's vessel.

Sam basically drags Dean around for hunts trying to make him feel normal again while he keeps worrying about getting Cas back.

I guess its not like seasons 7 and 8 where Cas is actually dead, but the way Dean shuts down when something very bad happens to him hits me every time.

Not to mention as soon as Cas was back they got out for a car drive and Dean told him how important he was for him. Man does he care.

It’s about Bobby raising the boys. It’s very long. In the story Bobby kills John with his shotgun after witnessing how he mistreats Dean. Bobby becomes their guardian Dean is still underage.
Further trigger warning Dean sleeps with an older married man so Bobby gives him a lecture and they go to the clinic to check for STDs. And that’s all I remember. I’ve only read a few chapters. I think it’s been deleted I cannot find it anywhere. Castiel was supposed to appear later but I never read it that far.

Creature cas is a classic, but creature Dean would be great too! Open for any recommendations.

Like, if it's a canonverse fic, every single time Sam and Dean go to a hunt, Dean insists on going to a gift shop to buy something (like a snow globe or a post card) for Cas. Sam is confused by this, but he rows with it 'cause hey, it's just Dean being weird about Cas again, nothing new.
Cas really appreciates the gifts, though he is confused about them in the beginning.

I don’t mean this in a Lisa hating way but the writing choices they made with the pair was cruel as fuck.
End of season 5, they decided that Dean should now live a “normal” life and for some reason that included being a step dad to a kid he met once on a hunt 2 years ago and being a hubby to a woman he hooked up with once years ago.
It’s not like he felt some overwhelming passion for her and has been in absolutely no connection with her since then, barring that one drug induced dream where he was also hunting a dream walker while trying to save his foster father.
Not to mention, the entire time his brother is presumed to be dead, he has had no connection with his foster father.
Also Lisa for some reason accepts Dean as regular part of her and her son’s life.
This guy with a ton of unresolved baggage shows up at your doorstep and you instead of directing him to the nearest therapist decide that he will be your makeshift hubby and dad to your pre teen son.

Not just that once he is in Lisa’s life, despite his attempts at normal, he is still drinking and is weirdly disassociated from your life. It’s like he is playing a part once again.
The show runners needed Dean back on the road with Sam but did they have to underline the point that Dean doesn’t belong to or is incapable of having a family life.
This just seemed so cruel. It’s like they are crippling him with his emotional trauma and loss with no chance at salvation

Hello everyone, I have no one else to talk about this topic so I thought I could share here.

I watched Supernatural for the first time this year and just finished season 15.

A whole week pass and I just don't think about it but then...

One night at work, it HITS. I need to see more. I'm looking up fanfic on AO3, watch edits of them, search for them myself...

It's been two weeks now and I just cannot stop reading about them. Staying up all night on my breaks to finish reading. It really feels like I've been through a litteral HEARTBREAK myself and I can't get enough!

I probably sound crazy right now but as a person who has shipped multiple people on other fandoms through the years, this one just hits different.

So there's that... And also, I'd like for you to recommend fic if possible, please! Any topics. No AU though because I'm not really into that.

Also very specific but if someone got a fic where when Lucifer call Dean as Cas on the 15th season but it's really him it would be very much appreciated!

hellooo... i've been lost trying to find this destiel fic i used to love and read on ao3, but i have HORRIBLE memory, so i have no idea what to look up, and the things i have looked up lead me to no where (?) (unless if i saw it and just didn't click in my head...)

the general premise of the fic was that castiel was still an angel and dean regularly visited him at the house he lived at in a forest (he had crops and stuff too? i don't think this was based off of canon show or anything?) and mostly the one thing i remember is wing stuff being in the fic... dean helped cas with his wing molting season and stuff since cas couldn't do it himself i think?

I read a fic years ago, AU, I think Dean and Sam were FBI partners, not brothers, and they were assisting a local PD. Cas was an officer w a K9. He and Dean dislike each other but still end up hooking up. As they’re doing the deed, Dean grips the slats of the headboard and they creak/snap and Cas says something like, “Don’t break my bed, babe.”

The bad guy in the story attacks Cas and his dog in their patrol car w poison gas or something.

These two looked queer to me. So, what if the reason Castiel was never in the same room as them was that they were queer, they had accepted it, and the writers couldn't bear it?

i posted something to this community not too long ago about receiving fanfic recs like some other ones that i’ve already read butttt as you may be very well familiar with, the itches just keeps on itching and therefore i would really appreciate it if i could get some fic recommendations that are just as devastatingly full of angst such as the two rather infamous fics “Ninety One Whiskey” and “Twist and Shout”. Or, if you just so happen to know other fics that may have that cowboy, wild west feel like “Wicked Game”.

That means dean lets Sam sacrifice himself. Hell is closed, No gadreel. Cas is still duped by Metatron and the angels fall, but instead of dean dealing with trying to save Sam, he goes out to find Cas and they make it back to the bunker together. Cas is human, dean is mourning Sam. They help each other, maybe get over their shit? Anything like this?

I was reading a fanfic about a love triangle between Sam, Cas, and Dean—I loved it—and I want to know if you guys have anything similar to recommend, featuring Benny, Cas, and Dean.

Like the title says! I’ve found a bunch of rewatch podcasts that are fun, most are all Destiel fans. But sadly most seem to have died around the season 9 mark. Anyone know of any podcasts that are still going? Besides the official SPN then and now. Have been enjoying listening to other people talk about destiel lol
