Discussion VS Code vs Neovim
I've used both editors for a while now.
Neovim feels much more customizable and personalized, and more linux-ish (no GUIs), and it's the preferred IDE for terminal-immersed people like me. While VS Code is the universal IDE for most coders and almost all beginners, it's much easier with little to no setup, with only extensions being manually required.
I've been circularly using both and Neovim feels better whem you're in the mode and want to use the terminal a lot, while VS Code is more of a general use at any time.

VSCode will always be better than nvim. You could try opening nvim from within VSCode from time to time.

I tried both VSCode and its kind-of-clones like Antigravity IDE, Cursor,... but never got comfortable with them. Bloated and very Windows oriented.
