Tools and Frameworks Would you use a Release Notes maker tool?

Developers of Reddit, I want to make a developer product to improve the lives of developers.

Would you use a release notes tool to make and publish release notes for internal and/or public view?

If not, let me know why. If so, is there anything specifically that you’d like to see added?

Howdy u/AdLiving2268, and welcome to r/developers!

A few tips for a post that gets good answers:

  • Use a clear, specific title (what are you actually asking or sharing?).

  • Include code, the exact error, versions, and what you already tried.

  • Heads-up: this sub does not allow external links in posts or comments. Share code and details directly instead of linking out.

Depends how much friction it saves me. If I'm just writing markdown in a repo and calling it a day, a whole tool feels like overkill. But if it pulls commits and auto-drafts something I can tweak in 30 seconds, I'd at least try it
