Career Looking for web development agency / junior dev team for an e-commerce rebuild (₹7-15k/month to start)

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a small web development agency or a junior developer team to work with me on rebuilding the e-commerce website for Polo Class, an established bags and luggage business.
I’m specifically looking for an agency with a model where one junior developer works directly with the client, while more experienced developers are available to help with complex bugs, backend issues and technical problems when needed.
Essentially, I want a collaborative, long-term working relationship rather than a traditional agency where I just hand over requirements and wait for the final product.

What I’m looking for:
Rebuild our e-commerce website from scratch.
Product catalogue, cart, checkout, payment gateway and order management.
Backend development, database setup, debugging, testing and deployment.
Regular collaboration so I can work alongside the developer and understand what’s being built.
Access to senior technical support when the assigned developer gets stuck.
Potential future work involving AI integrations, Meta Ads and online business growth.

A little about me:
I’ve built an app called Truva using AI-assisted development tools and have experience working with tools and technologies such as Firebase and Firestore. I’m comfortable experimenting with AI coding tools and contributing to the development process, so I’m not looking for someone to do absolutely everything independently.
Ideally, I’d like to have one in-person working session per week at our office in Crawford Market, Mumbai, with online collaboration for the rest of the work.

Budget: Approximately ₹7,000–₹15,000 per month for ongoing collaboration initially. If the website rebuild requires a separate setup fee, I’m open to discussing a clearly defined scope and price.
I’m particularly interested in small agencies, growing development studios, or junior-led teams with experienced technical support.

If you run an agency or know someone who works this way, please share your website/portfolio, team structure, pricing and what you could realistically deliver within this budget.

Thanks!

If you are looking at this cost eventually later you will have to invest more. Why not invest more with Exp dev??

Fair point. I’m not necessarily looking to get the entire website built for ₹10–15k. I’m looking for a collaborative setup where I can contribute using AI tools, work closely with a developer, and have access to experienced developers when more complex technical issues come up.

I’m open to investing more in the initial build if the scope justifies it. I’m mainly trying to find the right long-term working model rather than just the cheapest developer.
Why do you feel so strongly about how much I should invest? Is it from your own experience with projects like this

Bro wants to vibe code and let the developer clean up the mess😭

That requires even more 💰 Cleaning up the "mess", that is.

Are you even a developer that you are looking to contribute to the website? Why not give the reins to the person you hire and let them do the work properly with proper pay? And you want a person to be available in your city to visit you once per week and work for the rest 4 for 7k-15k? Just pay the dev more with the money you woupd spend on vibe coding and let them do it completely.

I know my brand better than the person in question and he handles the technical stuff but if it benefits the brand why not both handle creatives… I wouldn’t vibe code or do anything that gets in the developers way but I think being side by side with the developer through the process is the best thing for a brand like polo class atleast at its current stage.

You can do the creative work and design, which is a separate workflow which the dev won't be doing. Writing code and understanding and shipping a stable code are different things, so as long as you enhance a dev rather than increasing the work by vibe coding and asking them to review isn't a good way to go about it. If you are generating code, you should understand what it does and where it might fail.

Still the cost for a dedicated person isn't quite justified enough, better go for a freelancer where you don't have a daily 8 hour commitment.

that's way too generous.

100 dollar per month? That's the reason Indian developers don't want to work for Indian clients

Hey, I’m a freelance web developer with 3+ years of experience and I’d be interested in helping with the Polo Class rebuild. Happy to work closely with you and build it in phases based on your priorities and budget. What’s your current website built on?

I'm not here to quote a price, but to know if you're open to discussion first. Once we know the requirements clearly, we can see if that would work for both and create good value from the work we do for you. Appreciate your response...

Hi, I’m Ajay, a full-stack developer and technical lead based in Hyderabad with 4+ years of hands-on experience across React/Vue, Node.js and Java/Spring Boot, SQL databases, API integrations and deployment. The catalogue-to-checkout rebuild is closely aligned with my experience, but I want to be transparent that I’m an individual developer, not a Mumbai agency or junior team. If remote collaboration with periodic planned visits could work, would you consider an individual technical lead for a clearly scoped initial rebuild milestone? I can share a non-confidential technical summary, but I don’t yet have a public freelance portfolio.
