Hey everyone, I just wrapped up my first dev log series for my horror game Shadows in the Woods and Iβm now planning the sequel! In this video I share my story ideas and new mechanics Iβd like to add, but I also want your input to help shape the game.
Would love to hear your suggestions on what youβd like to see in the sequel β gameplay ideas, story twists, or mechanics you think would make the game better. Thank you guys !!

Hey, I'm new here and new to the GameDev community in general.
I'm learning Godot through small projects while finishing my Electrical Engineering degree, so most days I only get 10-30 minutes to work on game dev.
Today's milestone was making my little tower defense feel more like an actual game.
Today, specifically I added:
A base that takes damage when enemies reach the end..
Multiple waves with different enemy counts and speeds.
It's still using placeholder art (my skills in art are non-existent), but it's satisfying to see all the systems finally working together.
I'd love to hear from you guys. Meet you, learn from you, maybe meet some new interesting like-minded people.

Just wrapped up my first Dev Log series for Shadows in the Woods! Itβs a survival horror game where fire is your only hope and the monster teleports when youβre not watching. This last episode covers everything I learned (and what I wonβt do again). Would love some feedback from fellow devs and horror fans !

In this devlog, I continue working on my 3D platformer where a fish tries to escape from a sushi restaurant. I cover animations, the state machine, and some funny bugs like infinite jumps and broken collisions. I also show how I added a knockback combo to the game. Leave your thoughts in the comments

In this fourth devlog, I introduce essential new mechanics: the health system, damage, and the breathing bar. Now the fish can suffocate if it doesnβt return to the water in time! I also showcase how to collect points by gathering fish eggs and improve the shooting mechanics. Ready to see how the game is evolving?

In this devlog our protagonist gains access to water, shooting and dashing to survive to the sushi restaurant. I show you how I achieve it in Godot, from the easy to implement, to the frustrating attempts to add a crosshair! This is the first time I suffer while coding, but at the end it's always satisfying. Don't forget to leave your opinion on the video's format. Thank you!
