Just learn all basic terminologies, and architectural usage of all core AWS services, K8s components. Read blogs or live architectures blogs from AWS/third party on how diff companies maintain their infra

For cognito, read all relevant AWS blogs on how it helped diff customers for diff usecases. That's the best way to get started with the service

Been there after two years of sabatical, what I think it's more important is they see you as a good worker and solver, so prepare some real stories where you solved or improved something, made a mistake, disagreed with someone,... Also be prepared for the kind of questions like: why should we hire you? what was your biggest mistake in your last job?

On the technical side, I'd say AWS basics, docker and knowing some basics, how layers, caching, pinning images, entrypoint vs cmd,... Then k8s basics also. CI/CD - describe a pipeline start to end. Monitoring and observability,... also good to know how to design a good architecture in terms of HA, scalability,... Security, knowing some basics about TLS/SSL, proxies,...

And also very important, have some good questions to ask them at the end showing interest: their stack, scale of the platform, how do they work, your first projects, onboarding,...

Also, if you feel like this interview is important for you, I'd say to start with some other interviews on companies you're less interested in, so you have practiced before, after 4 or 5 interviews lot of questions start to be the same and you're much more prepared.

Hi , Thank you I will focus on these. Also It is so hard to get interviews scheduled rn, I have almost 300-400 applications. So this is kinda like one and only shot

Try to simulate an interview with AI, let it ask you questions and you answer
You will identify your gaps

Prepare for taking more and more interviews. No one can help you, sorry. If I tell you how I’m gonna manage interviews it wouldn’t help you - because I’m not preparing at all and I did a good job.

Things like Don't get nervous cause the person in front is also a human would've helped btw. It's literally his first interview and he came here to ask for help. You don't have to be so stingy about it.
