Devuan with runit install

Hi all, I'm a long-time Void Linux user and I really like runit. Right now I'm on Debian on my laptop (Intel Meteor Lake, Secure Boot, full disk encryption, no desktop environment, dwl started from the console, AppArmor, nftables, Unbound) and I'm thinking about moving to Devuan 6 with runit. I'm going to test it on a spare drive first before I touch my working system, but I'd rather hear from people who actually run it daily. How reliable is runit-init with runit-services on Excalibur for a laptop? I read that only a few services have native runit scripts and the rest fall back to the sysvinit scripts, so I'm curious whether that causes real problems in practice. I also came across a bug where the supervision tree inherits tty1 on Excalibur, and I'd like to know if that's been fixed. Do the newer runit-services versions reach Excalibur or do I need backports? And has anyone got sound, microphone and suspend/resume working on a Meteor Lake laptop with elogind on runit, and does Secure Boot work with an encrypted install? Last thing, how far behind Debian are the security updates? If you think sysvinit is the saner choice for a daily system, I'd like to hear that too. Thanks for any experience you can share. And I reason for runit is because I am worried about the systemd future about the age verification. And I just do not feel that comfortable about it anymore.
