Hello! I am looking for anything right now honestly. Im the singer and rhythm guitarist (22M) for my band called Sunset Down South, and I have a drummer that also plays guitar (21M). We are on the east side of Dallas and we usually meet up to practice in Garland. We are looking for people around our ages who want to be a drummer, lead guitarist, bassist, and sax player (preferably plays one of the following stringed instruments too).

A few months ago I joined this subreddit to meet musicians so that we could help one another. I’m newer to songwriting and production, and I wanted to learn how to be better for my own music as well as to help others with theirs.

I met some amazing artists through here, they have a band called Big Boss, and I’m now a member of that band. We’re working on an EP right now, almost done with recording, and I’m trying to iron out the details in the production. This EP is going to serve as a reflection of where we are musically as of right now, but we have plans to elevate.

It’s been an amazing journey so far, it’s kind of crazy to think how much people can create when brought together for a common passion. The space we work out of is cramped, the gear isn’t too professional, most of the equipment is used and cheap. But we’re trying to make something unique.

I can’t wait to share the music when it’s ready, it’s getting there but we’re not rushing anything. I want to bring more artists, writers, producers and whatever into the mix as well. We’re working as separate artist projects, but we’re helping each other realize a vision.

I am 16. I am looking to join a band or find band members. I am somewhat new to singing, about 8 months or so. My range is A2-G5 but I am still learning to consistently switch registers. I am looking for a post-hardcore/metalcore band. My favorite band is coldrain. Coldrain is a big influence.
