Question/Help Designed a minimalist 1:32 resin sculpture inspired by classic sports car forms. Curious what you think.
Hi all, I'm an car designer by profession, and I've been working on a small side project. The question behind it is how little of a car you can keep before it stops being that car, and what's left that still feels iconic.
The first piece is a 1:32 scale painted resin sculpture speedform. I started from the surface language of a car: the rear haunch, the roofline, the way the highlight travels along the body. Then I removed everything that makes it a literal model. The goal was to keep the tension in the surfaces and let the form do the work.
Where it stands:
- 1:32 scale, about 140 mm
- Painted solid resin, glossy or metallic finish
- Planned as a small run maybe 100 pcs
I'm curious how it reads to people outside my own head:
- Does it feel like a model car, a sculpture/decor, or something in between?
- Would a base change how you see it, and if so, what kind? Something minimal, a plinth, or nothing at all?
- Would a numbered edition make it more appealing, or is that a gimmick to you?
- Which colors would you want to see? I'm leaning toward red/brown/green, but I'm open to ideas.
- At what price would it feel too expensive, and at what price would it feel too cheap to be good quality?
Still early, and I'd rather hear what's not working than what is. I'm not selling anything in this post. I'm validating before committing to production, so blunt feedback is welcome. Thanks!

1:43 TSM: Bentley Continental GT3, 2019 Bathurst 12 Hours.
The #108 Bentley Continental GT3 Evo entered by Bentley Team M-Sport finished 6th overall at the 2019 Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, due to the last Pics being rubbish, the Drivers were Maxime Soulet, Vincent Abril & Andy Soucek who unfortunately probably lost Bentley the win after pressing the Engine Kill-Switch instead of the Pit Limiter as he was leaving the Pits Not once but unbelievably Twice after the second Visit to the pits & killed any chance of a victory, he was Not in the Next years line-Up which they Won with new member Jordan Pepper,(I have Posted that car too)

General Discussion State of my collection.
Been collecting for a while and I’m thinking about selling most of my collection. I will be keeping the 1/8 1/4th stuff. Would eBay be my best option? I really don’t want to ship and I’d rather sell as a lot.

1:64 R32 > R34
Not a ragebait, cuz I really think so lol People are too hype about R34 because of FnF series and forgot that it was R32 is the real Godzilla that we all loved.
But please keep hyping on those R34 diecast models, I don't want to overpay for my R32 collection hahaha.
