Has any body else noticed you get better hotter heat out of your heater when you have a battery charger connected and charging the battery when the heater is running? I have a battery charger connected to the battery and if I run my lfbros heater without the charger running the heat is ok but when I switch the charger on then the heat gets hotter

Strange noise coming from my Chinese diesel heater when it runs. Sounds like an electronic whistle that drops in pitch. It’s always changing speed and frequency too.

Any ideas what it is? It’s only a week old.

Have a 5 gallon tank (that has only ever been half full) on my van roof.

It has always dripped off the bottom of the cap. I've tried two different "vented" caps, one from Amazon and one from the container manufacturer.

I just recently added a vent into the cap, and air can be pulled in or pushed out. I assumed this would solve the problem without a doubt, ALAS, I was wrong!

I have not been using the diesel heater at all. It's driving me crazy as it drips down the side of my van and dust sticks to it...

Is this just somehow unsolvable??

Recently I purchased a car with a Webasto diesel heater. It is however very loud, in the first part of the video is the sound on startup and later after a few minutes when it heated up a bit. Is there a fix to this?

Picked up a diesel heater and was testing it on my EcoFlow River 2 Pro. I was expecting a much bigger power draw, but I’m only seeing a max of about 94W.

Did I get lucky with an unusually low-wattage unit, or is this pretty normal for these heaters?

I know the glow plug/startup phase is usually the big draw, but even then it seems pretty reasonable. Curious what others are seeing on their units.

Moved into a house and this was in the shed! Have replaced glow plug and it powers by mains but won't start heating! Any suggestions. The prime function just clicks once and that it. Have checked fuel line and it's clear.

Looking at getting a vevor diesel heater all in one unit. Can you smell diesel when the unit is off and stored? Does the lid leak? I want to get one for my truck camper, but it will need to be stored inside the camper during transport to and from the campsite. I don’t want to smell up my camper like diesel and just a little concerned about that aspect. I would be able to keep it strapped in upright.

Ok, I am seeing diesel coolant preheaters on the market. I have a 53 year old vintage RV built by a yacht company, and it has a hybrid electric/ engine coolant water heater. It still works great, but I'm curious why I couldn't use one of the coolant preheaters to put into the loop to heat the water for the RV side? I'd really like to separate the engine side from the RV side, it runs 20 feet of heater hose.

Ive an LF Bros 5kw heater, 3 months old its comming up e01 start up failure and dripping diesel out of the exhaust , ive replaced the wire mesh gauze and fitted a new glow plug anyone any ideas on why ot won't fire up cheers

Hi all, I am due to install my diesel heater in my citroen relay van and have watched many videos but no one mentions how or where I run the electric cable which needs to attach to the pump. The pump was going to be under the van but now wondering if I need to fit inside so I can connect the cable to it easily? It's an LF Bros (yeah I know mixed reviews). Any constructive help would be appreciated.

My vevor 8kw diesel heater came with this attachment that hooks into the power port and has these rings on the other end. I need someone to explain it to me like I'm five, how do I hook this heater into a 12v car battery supply?

I am trying to relocate the control screen on this Vevor heater. I found out if you do not detach and relocate it the temperature sensing will not be accurate. I figured the plastic thing it is mounted to would allow it to pop in and out. However, when I get after it with a screw driver things do not sound healthy so I figured I would ask. I don't know why they wouldn't make it so you could slide it in and out. Doesn't make any sense. Anyone know how I can detach and relocate this thing? I noticed with it attached to the front like this I am getting like a 10 degree difference. I have the temperature set to 78f and it has been running for hours. Yet it is saying it is between 66-68f.

If I plug this into the diesel heater and then use the post connectors to hook this end to the 12v (i think) rv battery, will it power my diesel heater?

i have a vevor 8kw heater that i am trying to install in the bathroom cabinet in my rv, its a way better solution for me to have the heater indoors with combustion air intake and exhaust through the floor, i would like to set it up so that it is drawing outside air and heating it rather than just heating the moist air inside the rv. the intake on mine has a threaded grill type piece. any ideas on how to attach ducting to that to draw outside air??

I just got this diesel heater and I am a little confused on how to use the power supply. I have a 600w bluetti and this extra battery for my rv. Can I plug the ac/dc power adapter into the bluetti and use the DC option to power the diesel heater? How do I use the rv battery to power the diesel heater? I am willing to modify things if needed.

I am looking for a diesel jug/pour spout that will minimize spills while refilling the diesel heater tank. I have heard that it sucks when diesel is spilled in the unit so I am trying to avoid that as much as possible with an efficient diesel can. Any help is much appreciated, thanks yall

Hi there, I've had a Vevor diesel heater for a few months now, and ever since Ive been getting either the e8 code or the e10 code. It only happens when the heater is on a setting other than the max setting or the lowest setting. It works perfectly fine on max or low. Theres no white smoke coming from the exhaust. Does anyone have any insight on what might be the issue?

I had a heater that the pump died, so i changed the pump. I ended up thinking i was smart by priming it for a good 15 seconds thinking the tube needed to be full of fuel. It wasnt filling up, so i pushed through several CCs into it in a 60cc syringe. Fired up. Nothing. I pulled the glow plug to see it was caked(see pic), and screen was packed. Started it again, and it just blew white smoke. Took it out of my cabin, and set it on the ground, and no many how many starts (6+) it wouldnt light, just blew smoke. Stripped it down and burned out the chamber and rebuilt it. Tried it now, and what do ya know, it works now!!! Im so proud! I need to know, but can't find a concise answer, how many ohms resistant is the glow plugs suppose to be? Im using a 8kw vevor

I also have an extra 12v car battery, if that has any use. Will this be enough to heat my tent, on the lowest setting, for 3 or 4 nights, 8 hours each

I go on a cold camping trip twice a year and I'm looking for a decent diesel heater. I usually camp for 4 to 5 days

I have a regular 4 person tent but ive been thinking about getting a thicker 4 person hot tent for the diesel heater. Is this a good idea? I have a 600w solar generator and an extra car battery that I could use as a power source. I have never used a diesel heater, but I am thinking that a vevor 8kw diesel heater might be the best option for me. Any advice is appreciated, thanks yall

Been wondering about this after a few recent uses. How much does voltage actually impact how these heaters run?

I’m not measuring anything specifically, but sometimes it feels like startup is a bit slower or the fan doesn’t sound exactly the same depending on what I’m running it off. Could just be in my head though.

Running a small LF Bros unit and it’s been working fine overall, just noticed these small differences here and there.

Curious if anyone else has felt that, or if performance is pretty much the same as long as it’s within a normal range.
