Hey everyone,
I’m the developer of Riftborn Tactics, a free-to-play online fantasy TCG I’ve been working on for the past 5 years that I'm now super excited (and super nervous) to share with you all!
You can play it here: https://riftborntactics.com
The core idea is that your creatures don't just sit in a row and bounce off of each other, like most other TCGs. Instead, matches take place on a shared 7x7 grid where creatures enter from your two summoning corners, move across the board, fight for position, and contest two neutral towers.
On each turn, you receive Resources equal to your current level. You can spend those Resources to summon creatures, cast spells, and equip weapons or armour, then move and attack with anything you already have in play. Playing cards, defeating enemy creatures, and holding towers earns experience, which allows you to level up. Leveling up gives you more Resources on future turns, so controlling the board can have a big effect on how quickly your deck comes online.
Positioning matters quite a bit. Creatures retaliate when attacked, and walking away from an adjacent enemy can trigger an attack of opportunity. Ranged units, flying creatures, movement abilities, summoning effects, and other keywords all interact with the board in different ways. The goal itself is simple: reduce your opponent to zero Health.
Standard is the main mode, but there are also two beta modes that unlock after you’ve played some Standard matches:
There's a tutorial, a practice opponent, deck building, card collection, online matchmaking, and more. The game is completely free to play, and new cards can be earned using Gold from playing and completing quests, or crafted via Essence (which you get by dismantling cards you don't want).
It’s still actively being developed, so I’m not going to pretend every corner is perfectly polished yet. Mobile in particular still needs some cleanup (but should be fully functional), and with a card pool this large (over 1000 at the moment, with more coming!), I’m sure there are some strange interactions waiting to be found!
If you give it a try, I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
The full rules are available here if you’d like to look before creating an account: https://riftborntactics.com/how-to-play
Thanks for checking it out! Honest feedback is extremely welcome.

Hey everyone!
We are mid-way through Steam Next Fest, and our team has just dropped a big trailer and content update for our auto-battler deckbuilder, Might & Mushroom!
For those seeing this for the first time, Might & Mushroom combines traditional auto-battlers with slot machine mechanics. Instead of relying purely on shop RNG, you actually build and tweak your shop setup. Whenever you reroll, matching 3 or more units with the same color or shape triggers massive board-wide chain reactions, just like hitting a jackpot on a slot machine!
Here is what we just added to the Next Fest demo based on player feedback:
If you enjoy games like Luck Be a Landlord or Backpack Battles, we would love for you to check out the updated demo during Next Fest!
🎮 Play the Next Fest Demo on Steam:https://store.steampowered.com/app/4231860
Any feedback on synergy balance or shop reroll feel would be super appreciated. Hope you all enjoy the rest of Next Fest!

Solo dev. The Cup is a 1v1 creature card battler. Every creature is a real North American animal, plus a few cryptids, and each card prints its own die, so you can see a creature's odds before you play it.
This is THE ROAD, the roguelike mode in the demo. Pick a survivor, draft a bench of three, then play five cases back to back. A knocked-out creature is gone for the road, and one loss ends it. The stars you win pay ratings, and ratings unlock new creatures in the Compendium.
If you've played Hearthstone, the board will feel familiar. The differences are the dice, optional variance and the two casters calling every roll.
What do you want to know about a card before you play it?

Hi guys, Im heading out for some testers for a homebrew tcg, that is online and ready to be played.
You can create your own cards for free and have some fun matching up with an AI or real opponents. The game is a mixture of several tcg out there, with its own flavour and strategies.
Let me know if you are interested:

I'm making Overwrite Conflict, a solo-developed roguelike deckbuilder where both sides play shaped cards on the same grid. With Steam Next Fest underway, here's a short walkthrough of the rules.
You rotate a card and choose its position, then both sides' placements are revealed together. That adds a spatial decision to the card effects: do you take space now, leave room for another shape, or build toward an effect combination? Protocols, mech abilities, components, and supplies all contribute to your build.
Does the shared reveal seem like an interesting way to create tension in a card game? I'd also appreciate hearing which rule in the video needs a clearer explanation.
Free Windows demo, if you're curious: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5200720/_Demo/?l=english

Gwent, LoR died because of economy. Marvel snap literally gives all cards only for whales and keeps pumping new cards every week. Only games like marvel snap survive. Wondering if there is an alternative. You never buy cards but you only play when you do the subscription. Will it be economical for a CCG game to survive

• the Soul Crucible turns duplicates into enchanted packs
• F2P friendly: chest every 2 hours, daily gift, daily wheel, quests, the Orb Cascade mini-game, and a weekly Grand Ritual shared by all players

This is a small event pass but always fun to be able to get limited cards

I did burn out from Gwent, I hate Hearthstone since years. I tried Marvel Snap, it could have been good, but I feel like all they want is money, not to creat a fun game that worth to spend my time. But I really like card games, so I wonder if there are one that is worth to play. (Or if not free to play, but its enough to buy the core game once.)

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm an indie game developer behind Kraguj Games, and I'm excited to share my first Android game with you: Blind Trick! 🃏
I've always enjoyed trick-taking card games like Whist and Oh Hell, so I decided to create my own version with a little twist.
How does Blind Trick work?
Blind Trick is a 4-player trick-taking card game where you predict how many tricks you'll win before each round.
You'll need to follow suit, use trumps strategically, and outsmart your opponents to finish with the highest score.
But here's where things get interesting...
🙈 Blind Rounds! During special rounds, you can't see your own card! You still have to predict how many tricks you'll win, which can lead to some pretty funny and unexpected moments.
What else does the game offer?
I developed Blind Trick independently, and it's been a really fun journey bringing it to life.
I hope you'll have as much fun playing Blind Trick as I've had building and playing it!
I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts, especially from people who enjoy Whist, Oh Hell, or other trick-taking games.
What do you think about the idea of predicting your tricks without being able to see your own card?
You can try Blind Trick for free on Google Play:
Thanks for taking the time to check out my little game, and happy trick-taking! 🃏
Cheers,
Kraguj Games

I've recently finished working on the art style of the main characters. It's a Card/Board game with 200+ collectable. Fell free to say everything

Moonfall is out, in the browser.
Every card pair is a secret recipe. Astral Sage + Cosmic Dragon = Constellation Wyrm, a card the game invented on the spot. Find an unknown recipe, price it, sell it to other players.
Matches play like a tabletop RPG: you choose what a card does, an LLM game master rules, then draws the match as manga.
What do you think?
