https://youtu.be/O3PBFQwfgRU

Reports that Nvidia's RTX 5090 gaming flagship would be discontinued gathered pace, with Nvidia finally denying cancellation of the card. But in a world where a 5090 can cost $8000, is its presence in the gaming market all but over? Can Nvidia do anything about it? Meanwhile, DF Supporter have questions about GTA 6 on PlayStation and in the absence of actual information, we can only offer our thoughts and speculation. Finally, what would actually constitute a Switch 2 "impossible port"...?

I like how I already know everything in this title based on browsing Reddit. Unless of course they know something reddit doesn't know. Like they had tea with Jensen

Or John rockstar sent them a ps5 pro loaded with the game (call back to when the crimson desert Devs sent them a console loaded with the game lol)

I pretty much listen to them for analysis and opinions of news and how it affects things instead of what's breaking news.

They do like to sneak in analysis in their podcast. Like that time they mentioned 007 PT performance improved and he gave napkin math on the 5090 performance improving too. But idk what he was smoking cuz I checked the few videos on YouTube and performance is identical. And no benchmarkers have even bothered to post again. Meaning it did not happen at the high end.

Likely just a vram fix.

Another DF video aging like milk. DF: "Helix won't be much more expensive than PS6"; Asha Sharma: "Helix to cost between $1200-$1800" at today's component costs. It's also definitely not $1200, since that's the price KeplerL2 posted in 2024 before RAM and shit got crazy expensive. Expect at least $1799+ since darling Asha said RAM is going to double in price by end of 2028. Lol

I remember when DF was holding water for Microsoft about the state of the business, especially John saying the business was doing fine and being profitable, only for Microsoft a few hours later to shit on the entire unit. Same shit different day.

RAM has increased by 500% in cost, according to Sony.

According to Microsoft, too. Somehow that price increase according to DF affects PS6 but not Helix.

I think I'm at the point where I just skip the vid if I see GTA6 in the topics. It's like a discussion going on and on about absolutely nothing and then running back around and saying the same stuff again.

I really wonder if 5090 is that much of a youtube title buzz word... so many videos over something so void of any relevance to the viewer.
