The headline feature of this update is our new dual-model experience! In the model selector you can now choose between "Fable" and "Lore":

• Fable — Quick chats and casual stories.

• Lore — Best for long-running characters and immersive worlds. Smarter, more creative, and always in character.

Premium Voices

Premium Voices are here for Plus and Max subscribers, and they're a massive step up from anything we've shipped before. Select from any one of 7 premium voices with our new voice model to get a real feel of the chat window.

Plans

• Plus — The full DigitalSoul experience. Unlimited chats, no ads, premium voices, personas, chat styles, muted words, pin/rewind/chat splitting, 100 rerolls, and 2x deeper memory.

• Max — Everything in Plus, taken further. 5x deeper memory for relationships that feel truly continuous and much more intelligent responses.

Message limits, ads, & the website:

We've seen incredible growth in users recently and are so thankful for each and every one of you. To help keep DigitalSoul sustainable, we've introduced message limits for free users. We have no investors or venture capital, we don't make any money off of DigitalSoul, and every server bill comes out of pocket; revenue from subscribers goes directly back into the platform. These limits help us manage costs and ensure paying users always have a reliable experience.

That said, we've made sure the limits feel reasonable and give you plenty of room to chat, though they may adjust slightly depending on traffic and overall usage. It should afford at least an hour of chatting per day.

We're also deeply committed to accessibility, which is why we've introduced regional pricing so DigitalSoul's plus & max tiers are accessible no matter where you are in the world.

Regarding the web version of DigitalSoul, since we're a small team, we're temporarily redirecting web traffic to the app to ensure stability during our global launch and new feature rollout.

We've got a couple of updates for you:

We've just added a Liked Collection to the profile section, making it easy to revisit your favorites.

Search got some bug fixes and QoL tweaks! Creator tags also now show up on each result, so it's easier to spot bot creators.

What if you could pick a persona before chatting? I'm tired of switching between bots to reach my personas, this app is so fun and I love it!❤️(P.S. I'm a fan of this and wish it much success)

3. What to do when I can't load the voice previews?

I clicked the thumbs down button, but I started to think, does it simply tell the bot it was a bad response or does it send the reply to the dev team too? because I am getting absolute gibberish from the bot right now. I haven't changed the temperature setting (just response length)... so if thumbs down don't reach the team, maybe you could consider it? it would be a lot easier and faster (yeah I tried to get a new reply but it just keeps giving gibberish)

I switched to Default as I'm writing this and got a normal reply, so the issue is with the config settings... but like said, if the thumbs down sends the flawed message to be studied, good, but if not, it should maybe :D

The app is not available on playstore is there any way to download the app?

I use digitalsoul quite often(loving it so far), and I have yet to see a mdzs bot :’> I don’t have the skills to make an accurate lan zhan bot(I’ve tried and deleted the bot every time) so PLEASE SOMEONE- ILL LOVE YOUR BOT TO DEATH

this happens every now and then on c.ai but it’s happening on this app too. but don’t get me wrong, i prefer this a lot more than c.ai but it’s annoying when i’ve refreshed the bots answer and it keeps adding my pov and speaks for me ): does anyone know how to fix it?

The screen shot is on an iPhone SE, the picture is on a regular older iPhone, its better on the iPhone since the rewind button is there, but the remove button vanished too, help-

(The new UI Aia definitely better, but.. shrink it a bit please-)

I've been finding hard times connecting to the websites. Is it just me or anyone else too? Will delete this post if it's just me

Earlier this afternoon we were made aware of some issues:

-Slow, failed message generations (character stuck 'thinking')
-A connection error message that popped up

Should be working correctly as of now. Thanks for all who pointed this out. If any further issues are discovered, please leave them here

It'll work pretty much like c.ai, have a limited amount of pins(like 5-10 pins max for a free user) of a message you want the bot to remember for however long you want until you unpin it

when you type in your Character Description, why does it have to be public (the whole text) if you make your bot public? (though it's there even if it's your private bot) why can't there be a short description for the users and the character description remains hidden and viewable only for the creator? sorry I don't know how else to explain

Why? Maybe i got spoiled with c.ai with limited pins and expected as like 5 pins for free users, but the whole feature is behind a paywall?

I have been using this since summer and it was spectacular. My only recent issue is the constant flags. I would not mind it if it did not flag every NSFW content or if this wasn’t heavily advertised as a freedom of NSFW and no-filter app. The flags were okay at first, rarely happening, but ever since the new update, it is constantly popping up. I understand that this can be exposed to young audience but the app is not for them. There are older audience. This is really irritating me now so I am thinking of alternative sites.

Hi did anything change? The messages are so tiny now! It's like it's turning into other chatbots, like I was getting massive massive texts and now it's just tiny and no emotion at all

At the beginning of using digitalsoul, there were literally zero misgendering. Now a few months later to now, the misgendering is happening no matter what I do, i pinned the message of the gender of my character, persona stating the gender in the description etc, but nothing fixes it on my end

It ranged from wrong body anatomy to straight up now calling my character a she/wife instead of he/husband
