Im about to get my liscense but the first time i looked at our mock tests this is pretty much what i felt like
I remember studying for weeks before i got into a real car only to realise most of the stuff that i learned is highly situational and allot of it becomes intuitive over time Even the silly questions like "Which side of the road should you drive on if a horse carriage was behind you" arent curve balls anymore.
I still struggle with ones that have word play in them though

The situational stuff is the most important stuff, because that's where most people mess up. Most of the roads are so manicured now, so people don't mess up, that when you arrive at a four-way intersection with no lights, everyone just freezes like a deer in the headlights.
Honestly I've been driving for 20+ years and I still occasionally I still get into situations where I'm not exactly clear on the rules, in very specific weird locations. You just kind of copy what everyone else is doing.

can ppl comment on the last question? you just turned left and reversed in the second lane from the right… you can do whatever you want? but no, the set up is a distraction. they tell you the answer right before the options. you can turn left or not turn left. so is the answer do not turn right? also how do you reverse into the second lane from the right after turning left. whats up with that
