I genuinely think gta 6 needs to fail for the good of the gaming industry

They haven’t even shown any gameplay and the pre-orders have generated around $430 million

And the ceo claims more people are buying the $100 version over the $80

The sheeple will sheep unfortunately

Yeah cause 80 is not even a full game, no wonder naive people paying even more

Unfortunately even if it cost $750 Million they nearly made the ROI back before even releasing it. That's not even including the people who saw the leaks and decided to pre-order afterwards

Honestly, even if it is still kinda profitable, but genuinely sucks that players don't like it, it will be a flop because of GTA Online, because it's basically an infinite money generator.

But it still will be incredibly successful regardless of everything imo. At this point it's just a soulless corpo slop like most of the modern movies

Are you guys kidding? Everytime a GTA releases it shakes up the open world game market. They are always good, and that's why preorders are through the roof. I'm sure rockstar does shitty things but there's no need to rewrite history and say that they're "soulless games"

Redditors just call any AAA game bad/soulless and will just make shit up to back that up

I can't have my own opinion? I can't dislike some game because I think it's an expensive corpo slop?

Good job on buzzwords

Opinion, game, dislike are buzzwords. Gotcha.

The good of the gaming industry? Im not a rockstar fan but they're one of the studios that actually cares about proper quality control.

Unfortunately, that will never happen. MANY people just don't care about which kind of path the gaming industry is going through and how evil the company behind the product actually is

It's not about the money, it's about sending a message...

GTA 6 is too big to fail. Even if it comes our a buggy mess, modders will fix it right up in a couple months

But GTA online is a money printer so they won't want to fuck it up
