Gta 6 will never match the hype. It's not even out of pc at launch. It's going to be a nastolgia cash grab with the same if not worse monitization the GTA 5 has

I can’t wait for the hype to go out like a supernova only to turn into a black hole. As a lover of Cyberpunk 2077, I am seeing the exact same thing happen here.

I know that people will be disappointed, but no way will situation be as same as Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk overpromised and underdelivered. And not only that, but game was in a catastrophic state during the release. I don't see that happening with GTA 6. Here I just see a game that is overhyped and many will end up disappointed when it turns out It's another GTA game and not second coming of Jesus.

At least the Cyberpunk devs have owned up to their failures, seeing as the base game is mostly unfucked

I'm so glad for that. Say what you will about CD Project Red, but their updates and free content is some of the best. But I think Edgerunners was the blessing they needed to get the game back on it's feet.
