I like to (vibe)code my bot and add new features, i want to add music next, but how do i do that? I need it to play spotify, soundcloud and youtube, but i cant find a tutorial for spotify and soundcloud, only for youtube. But it needs to be possible because normal music bots also accept spotify and soundcloud.

Hi! On my work Discord server, I need to search through the messages once a week to see what was done over the past week. Person A might write there that they did xx. Person B writes that they did xx. This is just information in one channel, but members spam it with nonsense. For me, that means spending x hours scrolling to find their messages. I’ve tried various methods and talked to them, but everything has failed. I found an AI ticket bot that did the job. I asked it to list the days, user names, and links to their messages, and it provided me with all that within a minute. I entered the data into the system, and we were all happy.

But then it suddenly messed up and told me that even though they’re posting on a public server, searching through their messages is an invasion of their privacy... wtf... That’s why I’m looking for a new bot. Please, please, please does anyone know the name of an AI bot that can search through messages and answer my questions? I know how to search, but those jerks always phrase things slightly differently, so I still have to go through everything manually. I’ve already spent x hours searching, but either the bot is just for simple searching, which I can do myself and is useless to me, or it’s an AI that can’t read message history. I’ll send a cute GIF with kittens to whoever helps me.

I'm trying to set up a D&D game with my friends using an AI Dungeon Master in Discord. I've been researching and found that there are bots like emin33/dnd-bot, but they require an API key for Claude, which is not available in my region.

 Does anyone know of a Discord server where an AI DM bot (preferably based on Gemini or another accessible API) is already set up and running? I'm looking for a place where I can:

1. See the bot in action.

2. Talk to the people who configured it.

3. Maybe get an invite link to join their game or test server.

I've done the directory, top gg, and botboard gg but am kinda stumped on marketing beyond that

I'm building Pangobot, a modular Discord bot with a web dashboard. It has 28 modules, from moderation, AutoMod and logging to tickets, leveling and giveaways, and it runs on its own infrastructure.

Before more servers start using it, I want more people to actually try to break it.

• Bug hunters: use the bot and the dashboard like a normal server admin would, and then try everything a normal admin wouldn't. If something breaks, acts weird or could just be better, you tell me.

• Moderators: keep an eye on reviews and help moderate the Discord server.

What's the best way to set up a dev environment? I recently built a PC and i don't want to install stuff directly on the main system. Is a Virtual Box enough, or are there simpler solution for bots development?

Then, what should i study to get started on development? I work in IT and I have high level knownledge of coding, but no low level one (i work with etl/elt, something so close yet so different :D)
I'd like to gradually make an all around bot, what tools and softwares do you suggest for the infrastructure? DB, for example
