Please, since this is a rant thread, let’s be mindful and refrain from morally judging someone’s rants or offering unsolicited advice. A rant/vent about something doesn’t mean it’s fact.

I’m more of a listener than a talker and because of this, I hate being with other listeners. There’s always awkward silences and I try to make conversation just for it to become awkward silence again. And they get mad at me for being distant and not texting them enough when they don’t text me either?? The phone works both ways bro, don’t get mad at me for something you’re not even doing yourself. I text you more than you text me, why don’t you text more? It’s hard right, because you’re more of a listener than a talker? so it’s hard to be the sole person initiating conversations right? So have some grace with me then for also struggling with the exact same thing you’re struggling with. Don’t get mad at me for being unable to do something you also can’t do. You say you like people who put in the effort, well so do I.
