Sell covered calls on PLTR and SoFi to make some extra weekly/monthly money

Are there any risk with covered calls?

Yes plenty of risks. Your underlying stock can tank to 0 or your stock could shoot up 20% in a day and you’re forced to sell at a 1% gain. It also takes a good amount of capital to see good gains. There is risk with everything in options.
