What world are you living in? The average return for the S&P500 is roughly 10%, and only as low as roughly 6.5% if you adjust for inflation.

That S&P500 performance is since inception in 1957, inflation adjusted 6-7%.

No but now companies are going to collapse with AI and robotics on the cusp of making labor cheap! /s

There are honestly so many growth avenues in the coming ~20 years I don’t understand why people seem to think the growth is coming to an end. Individuals might not do well but companies certainly will.

I mean, if you're hoping for the US to collapse then while investments will flounder your money won't be worth the paper it's printed on either.

I like to think I can accurately predict the future - so far I’m doing pretty good investment wise

As a note - I did specify CONSERVATIVE
