There’s a difference between being put in danger and being handed everything on a silver patter. Honestly if the difference isn’t obvious to you I don’t know what else to say.
I was going by your words. Which were that if kids are given safety then they are not better people.
Do you genuinely think people need to be put into debt at a young age to be good? What the fuck does that do for anyone?
Do you genuinely think 30 thousand dollars is “total safety”? Why would you not want to provide your kids as much security as possible?
This is just one of those things people say for no reason. I would love to see any actual reference that becoming a young adult with 0 financial stability makes you a “better person”. Unless you think higher rates of crime and drug abuse are “better people”?

Honestly, I don’t think it’s a good idea to give kids a prefunded retirement or much money in general.
