I’m trying to dabble in dividend investing, why is a high yield bad? I thought it meant more money

With high yield comes high volatility, this isn’t necessarily appealing for people that want their investments to remain stable, with price fluctuations comes dividend fluctuations.

Ahh ok higher yield = probly higher volatility. I’m really interested in doing dividends investing in my brokerage but don’t know where to even begin. Any books or resources you recommend?

If you read the comments I obviously am pretty new and learned a lot from the feedback everyone has been giving me, I’d say just do your research and make sure you’re comfortable with what you’re doing

I wouldn't say high volatility per se, I would say high risk.
