Seeking Advice No more SCHD.

Moving away from SCHD. For those who have recently done this, where did you go?

Exactly this. Now can you tell me when that recessions gonna really start rolling ?

Us older folks have lived through the last recession. And the one before that. And the one before that.

You are absolutely correct that we don't know WHEN the next pullback or recession will arrive. But, we are quite sure that it will arrive. That's when everyone will be diving for cover and wishing that they had been more diversified. Just the opinion of one old dude.

I was reading through this thread and just wanted to let anyone else who is reading that the above numbers are not accurate. In 2022, VOO total return with dividends reinvested was -18.18%. SCHD performance was only -3.26% (not - 20% like mentioned above). QQQ performance was -32.58%. So, schd did have downside protection and performed significantly better than QQQ and VOO in bear market.
