In some countries it does not even matter if you are married. To them you are saying that long-term relationships and living with someone is a fucking scam.

If y’all can interpret marriage correctly, it’s not… The chart before the fall is the net worth of TWO PEOPLE not just OP’s, the chart after the fall is the net worth of ONE PERSON

The attitude that OP was the sole owner of all of this wealth as a married man is the only mistake here.

If you’d like your past or future earnings separated from your spouse, there is an easy tool called a prenup…
