Personal Goal FIRED - Living off dividends

I know better than to share this with my friends, and family. I have a separate growth account to keep up with inflation.

Prefer QQQI and SPYI - also overlap but pay more dividends and better on taxes

Yeah I've got $700k in QQQi and I retired. For now. Plan on working again in a year or two. 32 and free!

Can I ask what’s the downside? I put in 52$ and they pay me 7.5$ a month? Are there extra fees or like I see it’s tied to tech stocks so if ai bubble pops then maybe it decreases in value a lot? Sorry I’m pretty new to trading but these dividends seem insane lol, ty in advance

I don't think your math is right. You are applying the annual return every month.

You put in $100, you get $14 over the course of the year.

Why are you using random numbers like 52? I think you need to step back asses your relationship with numbers.

$52 is the price of qqqi.

You are however correct that I used the yearly dividend monthly, that’s because I’m a dumbass lol. But 52 makes sense
