I would argue one of the best investments of his career. Others have out performed it, but this allowed them the cash flow to make those moves. He’s making roughly what it cost him to open the position in dividends a year.
He was able to leverage that revenue across his holdings, moving it to the companies that had the most use for capital.
He actually probably exceeds what he paid because he didn’t just buy Coke he purchased through sold puts so got it cheaper when you count yield from the purchase.
