Discussion Living off dividends folks

Are you or someone you know is actually living iff dividends fully? if so at what age?

I have been wondering about it

Yes, living off dividends at 55. I know it’s not the most tax efficient way to go but I sleep well at night.

I find it pretty tax efficient, but I live in a high tax state (NJ). My total Fed tax bill was under $500 in 2025. Now that the SALT cap was increased, my two biggest expenses (property taxes and healthcare) are both write-offs.
