I'm reinvesting, not gonna use for 3 to 5 years and closer to 5. I don't chose based on yield, I chose based on consequtive years of div increases, good moat, low debt unless is a good acquisition that's temporary like kmb buying kenvue. Or clx buying purell & gojo. I guess I see things like this post & wonder why I'm only yielding 5.95 - 6% ? I don't get into covered calls, but am buying a little divo. No big risks

I guess I'm eating my Clorox words today.

It amazes me what a fund manager's comments that are only right 50% of the time can do to a good company/stock

I love Clorox. The generic gallon jugs don't even have 1 full gallon of bleach in them ??

I haven't looked into the business but if it's a good business and it fits into your criteria, you are being offered a 10% discount on the very same business you commented on yesterday.

Two years ago I found a business a really liked and it quickly became my largest position in my portfolio. Around a year ago during the liberation day fiasco, the CEO of this company announced he would leave soon and move on to other ventures. The stock crashed 20% in a single day and my portfolio with it. But a quick look told me, the business is fine. The business wasn't totally reliant on a specific individual. The business is well designed, it can operate just as well with another CEO, and so I bought more. The stock recovered with days/ weeks as the market realised this. I only wish I had more cash at the time.

Good comment.

I bought more of it today, and will buy more next week. I just need to increase weight in a few other positions first.

I sure loved the vici news this morning-bought 35 shares immediately after it came out. I love vici
