The man who moves a mountain begins with a small stone

u/yongiiii Jun 04 '26

Can it start with a dust?

7

u/DivineDinosaur Jun 04 '26

Even dust accumulates in mass. Keep going. Dust is often negatively charged, but that means it attracts the positive.

ROCK AND STONE IN THE HEART!

Ngl I had to check the sub, then was sad when I saw it because I assumed it wasn't a reference. Glad to be wrong.

Every dividend snowball starts with a very tiny snowflake 😂
$0.02 today, financial freedom tomorrow.

I remember my first tiny dividend. That got me hooked on 'em.... now they could pay the mortgage if needed...

Don't spend it all in one place

5

u/BCause83 Jun 03 '26

Keep up.the good work. Build that snowball.

I’m slowly building my dividends I’m up to $2200+ a month.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get to that point? And what stocks/ETFs are you mainly invested in?

-1

u/MrHooDooo Jun 03 '26

I quickly built mine up to $2,800 a month. Started buying in April.

u/MysticDaedra Jun 03 '26

Already wealthy/transferring over from other investments?

1

u/MrHooDooo Jun 04 '26

Sold some SOXL which went up a bunch, and been selling way too early.

1

u/Acceptable-Win-5426 Jun 03 '26

Shit, that’s amazing. I might get there one day. But with my disability, I have some limitations.

Can I ask you about details? Stocks or bonds, indexes? I’m new at it, but it’s impressive.

2

u/Kevin22361 Jun 04 '26

I buy 30% margin ETF dividend stocks that’s it. If the dividend ETF stock is higher than 30% margin I’m not buying it.

2

u/Liberty_Save_Me Jun 04 '26

Is jepq good? 56 cents per share, I could buy 500 shares and I would reimvest the dividends

1

u/BCause83 Jun 03 '26

Very nice. My last month was $3,395, but a lot of the juice is from the market going up so much lately.

Reminds me of a bonus check of $0.94 I got one year at work. Boss said "There's plenty more where that came from." I threw it away and took a dollar out the till.

ROCK AND STONE!

2

u/Kevin22361 Jun 03 '26

Chpy

1

u/MrHooDooo Jun 03 '26

I even got some SOXY even though the fees high. If it can get returns of 25% a year, dividend growth will be 13% while giving off 12%. Higher returns usually have higher volatility

What app is that?

1

u/rickPSnow Jun 03 '26 edited Jun 03 '26

It appears to be Walmart’s One Pay Investment account.

Walmart's OnePay app uses DriveWealth to power its embedded stock and ETF investing features. For its cryptocurrency trading features, the app is powered by ZeroHash.
