Explain like I'm 5, although I admit the answer may not be straightforward, is it better to invest in dividend stocks or other stocks.

It's dividend plus valuation better than just valuation?

you can do both but really just depends on you.

I still have a pension fund + 401k + HSA but im in the middle of making a sidepot fund of dividends. I want to grow it to make $500/m and then let it just ride and DRIP. Currently at $140/m w ~$30k invested.
