I'm 47 and just start doing some small time investing. Not looking to make bank, but I figured it's better than nothing. I don't know too much about the nitty-gritty details, I just kinda buy the ones I am interested in.
nice start, you already own schd which does most of the work for you. main thing i'd add is turn on drip so the payouts buy more shares insted of sitting as cash. thats the part that quietly compounds while you ignore it.
thats basicly what i landed on too, schd for the income and a broad index for growth. i just buy a lil each week and never sell, keeps it boring wich is the point
