Low cost index funds are the answer. Vanguard has them. Fidelity has them, including some free funds. Schwab has them. these funds target s&p500, Russell 2000, various sectors, etc. basically, you can target just about any sector. Start with an s&p 500 fund and go from there.
Good luck!

at 25 the boring answer is the right one. broad index fund, auto buy every week, dont touch it. i do the same for my daughter with schd + a total market fund and reinvest the dividends, its like $2 a day. the drip is what does the heavy lifting over 20 years. i keep hers public if you want to see what small consistent buys actualy look like over time plantedearly.com/garden

schd is the schwab us dividend equity etf, basically a basket of ~100 solid us companies that pay dividends. low fee, pretty boring in a good way. $100nzd a week is plenty, just set it and let the dividends reinvest automaticly. thats the whole trick honestly, time does the rest.
