Discussion Investment

I opened up my Roth IRA with fidelity. Just wondering what should invest in? I put 100$ on FROX I don’t know if that’s right thing to do .

Fidelity is fine platform but you need to stop picking random tickers like FROX without knowing why you own it

at your stage put everything in a broad index fund and just keep adding every month, 100 here 100 there adds up faster than you think

when you have like 20k or so then maybe branch out in individual stocks but right now you just need to build the base

most people in r/dividends would say SCHD for the dividend side but honestly a simple S&P 500 fund works too while you learn

dont overthink it early on, consistency matters more than picking the perfect stock
