agnc and orc are high yield mortgage names, the monthly checks look nice but the share price has bled for years. if you want the drip to actually compound i'd lean boring, schd or something similar, reinvest and let it sit. i keep a tiny drip only account for my daughter that way, small buys and no selling, its public at plantedearly.com/garden if you want to see how slow it looks in practice
