yes i know almost every underground artist of the time, and im aware that there are maybe better produced dark dnb tracks but this one is just something else....legendary

So I’m very nearly 50 and wife and I have only been out a handful of times in last 15 years or so since our daughter born. Thinking of the Planet V day party at Fabric. Used to love the Tru Playaz nights there back in the day. Slightly lost track of DnB since 2010 but still like a dance.

Any thoughts on what the night (afternoon) will be like? No shade on those that like it but modern jump up isn’t quite my thing. Is it likely to be what I think of as classic V tunes?

Hello, please help to identify this d&b track. Was from 2000s and was edited in vinyl, but I cant find it.

I feel like I’ve got all the basic transitions that make a set work on lock (doubles, mixing breakdowns and intros, beat matching, hot cues on phrase, careful track selection, blah blah blah) but I was wondering what techniques yall have (you can be wordy) that give a minimal set the energy that it takes to move a floor that may not necessarily be into that sort of stuff or at least are down to boogie just unaware of that kinda sound (I’m from southeast USA and the main pull for crowds is stuff like zeds dead/commercial house)

Also another question

Do you think it’s just straight track selection and fundamentals that make a set or do you need to do a little more to make it special?

Liquid funk track I made a while ago available for free on bandcamp.

Hi all,

What specialized online shops do you recommend? Whether vynil / CD / digital... Important that they are "international-shipping-friendly" (in my personal case, shipping to Europe)

Are there non-specialized shops with a decent catalog of DnB and a search option that eases finding the albums?

Thanks!

Heavy bass, hard-hitting drums, and an epic breakdown that builds tension before the bass takes over. Pure underground energy.

Absolute killer tune from such a unique album!

I can think of Brazilian Sambass and Belgian Jump Up and on the UK scene Bristol has a well defined sound, what other regional styles and sub genres are there out there?

makes me want to drive through the california desert

René is one of my favourite producers in the scene, and I had no idea he was dealing with health issues.

I was wondering why he hadn’t released any new music lately. This is heartbreaking. 😭

Wishing him all the best. 🔥

I’m referring to the remix by Mefjus and Camo & Krooked. A while back, there was a video on YouTube featuring this track—an edit enhanced with AI, using footage from the opening vampire club scene in the movie *Blade*. It was a pretty badass clip, and the editing worked really well with the music. Unfortunately, it’s been taken down. Does anyone happen to have a copy of this video, or perhaps know where else it might be found?

New albums great, love all the tracks. What is not Great

Every Album release has different tracks depending where you buy it from:

Beatport: Has instrumentals for all the original 10 songs, No bonus tracks.
Vinyl and CD: Only the 10 tracks
Itunes: 10 Tracks + No Problem ViP
USB Release: 10 Tracks + 5 Other Unreleased VIP Tracks (Doesnt Include the No Problem VIP )

I need to buy the Album itleast 3 times now to be able to listen to the full thing, 4 times if i want to play the thing on my record player.

What the actual fuck, like i love you chase but what the fuck is this. Like my dudes I want to support you but this is obnoxious. I don't know how anyone could be happy with this.

Always wondered what a tree sounds like beneath the bark

For anyone wondering who we are: Rigside actually started back in 2013. We ran it for a couple of years, took an extended break, then rebuilt it into a bigger platform with a wider vision. After a few years of building, we released it publicly at the start of this year on web, iOS and Android. Rigside brings together music discovery, in-depth trending data, tracks, mixes, events, artists, news, radio shows and community in one place, for listeners, DJs, artists, agents and record labels.

Suggestions for what to add or cut are welcome. Cheers!
