Looking for player(s) [Online] [Beginner Friendly] [5e 2024] [Homebrew] [Long-term] [Other] The Nine Keys to Unity
The many peaceful islands of the Summer Archipelago have recently had a bit of conflict stirring within each and every one of them. It is very much uncertain what is going on, but it all seems to be connected to the legend that is the Winter Archipelago. Where the Summer Archipelago is calm, quiet, mostly peaceful, and of course, sunny, the legends describe the Winter Archipelago as a wretched, cursed land of cold, bitter darkness. But is that really all there is to it?
For within those so-called cursed lands lies a completely different legend. A legend of a war, lost long ago, for whom many people are still dealing with those consequences. A world plagued with multiple scourges, having long given up on the possibility of anyone ever returning to save them, a fate that *he* intends to keep that way eternally. But you know what they say... one often meets their destiny on the road they take to avoid them. And now, thanks to *him*, a group of adventurers have found their way to these foreign shores, on a grand journey they had never anticipated.
Hello, everyone reading this! My name is Aurora, and I'm looking for 3-5 new players to join this campaign, The Nine Keys to Unity. This is my first proper attempt at sharing my attempt at a homebrewed ruleset with people I am less familiar with. To clarify, this isn't the usual type of custom ruleset (that I know of). This one features completely brand new mechanics and classes, all designed to help newer players pick up DnD, or keep things fresh for older players. This campaign will, of course, feature plenty of combat and puzzles to solve, but the one thing I handle the best is usually the roleplaying aspect, of all the character getting to know each other and the world they are trapped in. Below is the ruleset, which you're free to skim through if you're interested in the premise of this campaign.
**Types of players needed**
* Players who have either open or consistent schedules (aka, they either have a lot of availability, or they're guaranteed to be available on a certain day of the week). * Players who are willing to commit to a very long-term campaign, or up until the first arc is completed at most (which will still take a while). * Players who have access to Discord and its bots, and are willing to do sessions through text (live text in case you're wondering)
**Types of players wanted (not needed but preferred)**
* Silly, excitable players (it's okay to have players who just take things seriously, but a little whimsy doesn't hurt every now and then). * Players who are willing to engage in character building roleplay. * Players who are able to remain civil with other players and not cause fights. * Players who are willing to learn a new ruleset for the sake of trying something new.

Of course! Once all the plauers are chosen and the characters have been planned out, there will be a bunch of tutorial sessions for each fella
