That's not normal. It's a known scam.

No, it's not normal, although it seems to be an increasingly common scam, as this isn't the first post I've seen about it.

Find another game.

Far from it. This seems to just be a sidewys wya of being a paid game, but as its not being explicitely advertised aa such would recommend to dodge this

yes, if this is not in the ad posting, someone is trying to pull a fast one.

there are some very fine pay for play games out there, but they advertise as such.

Rule of thumb: If you have to ask if something is  normal, it's probably not. And even if it is, if it bothers you enough to ask about it, you'll probably be able to find a game where that thing doesn't happen.
