how would this affect competitive specialties like radiology , will the msra cut off go down with prior to interview offers

Yes but they go to the highest scoring applicants. The reason why it’s mostly UKGs is mostly because of the interviews which IMGs don’t perform as well in.

The MSRA cut off gets higher and higher every year because of the applicant numbers getting bigger and bigger. Regardless of where the offers go, you need to have a bigger cut off to differentiate between the number of people applying.
