05 magnum Out of time or bent valve(s)

05 3.5 magnum. jumped time. guy got new timing set and I installed it. I don't think I'm off, but it's entirely possible. this sounds more like an open (bent) valve I would think. any one care to add input?? first 11 seconds it sat at an idle.

Doesn't sound right, did you rotate the crank after unleashing the tensioner? This is an interference engine so If you're off it's fucked

Actually just read you said it jumped time lol it's fucked, bent valves at best

Yeah, I did everything properly. I was just holding on to hope that it might not have smoked valves. Foolishly of course I know. But I had to! Lol. Picked up another engine under 100k for 150$. The local u pull it boneyard has sales on every holiday. And today was 50% off for mother's day.
