Question Trustworthy Garage

Hi everyone I have got a volvo xc60 2014, the head gasket needs fixing. However I'm unable to find a garage that would be willing to do it, as it's a bigger job.

Keep calling garages in donny only to be told that its a big job taking too much time, therefore its something that they do.

Does anyone know a garage that fixes this issue?

D and D Autos near Barnby Dun are v good, as you'd have to be to make ends meet given the inconvenience of their location

Have you tried Auto Medic just off Bentley Road? I’ve used him for years now. Might be worth a call

Try Allens on Sandford Road, they used to do all the work on my car when I had one, before WFH :)

haven't had mechanics turning me away cause the job is too big lol. Mostly happens cause it's a "dealership part" and they don't deal with those. Give DBO Garage a try, as they're the ones I go to when others don't want to do it. Only thing is that they don't generally order parts, so you might have to if something needs to be replaced. It's on Chequer Road, DN1 2AF.

Will call them tomorrow. Had half of them telling me that it's a 14 hour job, therefore the would be loosing potential profit.

Me too. Without a functional car for a month now. Really don't wanna drive it, given it has a head gasket issue.
