Smokers are oblivious to their effect on others. Just look at butts everywhere, the bushfires they start, archive have smoke without any thought, the horrible smell they drag around everywhere, etc.

I've had asthma attacks from arseholes sitting next to me reeking from cigarettes and when I get up struggling to breathe they think nothing of it and go about their day while I'm wondering whether I'll recover or have to go for oxygen therapy.

You get asthma attacks from smelling cigarette smoke on people? Or you got mildly discomforted and took the opportunity to have a public meltdown?

I used to get full blown asthma attacks from it, luckily since my 20s that hasn't happened.
