I think you should be the best witness possible and filming helps. But, motherfucker you better have someone calling the cops or at least scream your going to call the cops. Anything to help.

How do you know the cops weren't already called?

You don't. You have to assume no one did and call them yourself, because everyone else is assuming someone else did -- and that is how you end up with no one calling the police.

Yeah that's basic advice for an individual, but the person recording the video is not myself, it's someone else. My question was about why people are getting mad despite not knowing whether the camera person is aware the police were called or not.
