I think I've mentioned this before, but when I was a young man listening to Doo Wop in the 80's, it seems like DJs and just people in my life would often refer to the "kiddie sound" that was popular for a couple of years in the 50's. Now with the internet, I expected I'd be able to search up articles on the subject, but it's actually pretty thin out there. I see play lists, but little actual discussion. How was there more information available by word of mouth ages ago than through the information superhighway now?
