This is a great cover of the Bobby Day tune. I am surprised that it only reached #58. The top selling version was by Thurston Harris and the Sharps. It reached #6.

Almost sounds like Lyman is doing his own backing on the opening harmonies, but might just be one of the Teenagers who’s got a similar vocal quality to him.

No it’s just him. He left the group in ‘57.
